KeymasterHow a leader can improve ethical skills
September 7, 2022 at 7:38 pm #1378bhiliadmin
KeymasterDear @Gloria Kombe. Thank you for the question. There are important steps for a leader to improve his/her ethics. First one needs to understand his purpose and values. You will learn later on Value Based leadership and Purpose Based leadership. When the purpose and values are clear, then it is possible to define the does and donts. So to summarize my point a leader needs to understand his purpose of leadership and his value. I hope this helps

KeymasterI think from my understanding, contemporary leadership is the kind of leadership where personal influences are used to demonstrate and achieve organisation goals and this kind of leadership differs from that of high impact due to the purpose of demonstrating skills of leadership where involving others in seeking ideas and finding solutions towards the goals of the organisation or team is the key element…
I stand to be corrected please!September 8, 2022 at 9:51 pm #1429bhiliadmin

KeymasterLeadership is ability to influence, motivate, and enable others to contribute to the effectiveness and success of the team or organization goal or I can say leadership is the ability to influence a group towards the achievement of a vision or set oof goals
Example; The ability of a manager to give or withhold tangible or intangible rewards such as rewarding pay raises or providing verbal praise for a good performance.Contemporary leadership is a kind of leadership that helps to cope with changing circumstances of the current world because it’s relies on three aspect that are rapid change, technological innovations and increase globalization due to this it’s develop a leader who uses personal influence to develop and insiper people to achieve organization goals and make different in community, make a strategies based on the team’s idea and consider problem solving as a team effort
While High impact leadership is kind of leadership that considering your impact as leader in your organisation that develop leader who they believe true success is defined according to the impact they have on a particular organisation.September 9, 2022 at 11:17 am #1432bhiliadmin
KeymasterLeadership is the art of motivating a group of people to act toward achieving a common goal. Example of leadership showing up on time on meeting and turning in work on schedule shows dependability offering support and coaching to less experience colleagues.and high impact of leadership must be a skill of control a organization or people and resolve all problem facing in the organization, practice in organization leader must do anything which are offer the company to increase the income or any thing which can organisation can earn and value any leader needs to benefit in the sector of income to increase one step to another.

KeymasterDear @Gloria, @Khadija, @Aleck I have read your discussion. I think you are all making points, but in simple terms the major difference between contemporary leadership and High Impacts Leadership is that the later invests and develops the leader him/her self, while the former focusses on investing in people being lead. Please review your notes again.

InactiveLeadership is the ability of an individual to lead or influence and guide followers or the members of an organization or society at large. Example:The WEO participating in developmental activities in his/her community inorder to set an example to the people concerning bringing about their own development by doing this it encourages team work and erases the idea of classes that certain people cannot do a certain activity instead it encourages working together for the betterment of the people.

InactiveFrom my point of view high impact leadership involves leading oneself first as the chance of knowing yourself as a leader and realizing your strengths and weaknesses before connecting with others first or bringing about change to others or leading them while contemporary leadership involves the use of personal influence to develop and inspire people to achieve organizational goals and making a difference in the community.

KeymasterDear@successadvisor@peterbujari,@Khadija,@linda,@alex I read all discussion for my understanding it’s means contemporary leadership combine transaction theory, servant leadership theory, transformation theory and charismatic leadership theory that why our successdvisor say the major difference i between these approach is how a leader can develop him or her self while the former focuss
ess on investing in people being lead

KeymasterWhere does servant leadership theory not work?
September 14, 2022 at 9:15 pm #1515bhiliadmin
Keymaster@Gloria servant theory works. It is when you as a leader feel more giving than receiving. Some leaders prefer to gai than to give, this is contrary to servant leadership. You will learn more in module 2 when you assess your personality.
September 15, 2022 at 4:58 am #1516bhiliadmin
KeymasterI think servant leadership theory does not work only to those who prompt to lead with their own potentials mindset because they put themselves instead of those they lead
