In my current work as a field facilitator, a result can be defined as a specific output, outcome, or solution generated in response to a given input or task. It represents the successful completion of a job or the information provided in response to a user query.

Example of a result I have achieved: “Through the human-centered design project, the transition booklets have helped young youth voluntarily move from the adolescents of the CTC club to the adult group. The transition booklet is a prototype developed for AGYW and ABYM to guide them on how to transition from adolescent clubs to adult groups. It aims to build self-confidence and cope with the new environment as they join adult groups. USAID/Afya Yangu Northern Zone developed this transition booklet through a human-centered design Methodology implemented by https://matchboxology.com/. The solution rollout was addressed to the adolescents living with HIV (AGYW and ABYM) and it solves the lack of proper guidance and upskilling of adolescents in their communication and confidence as they move from adolescent clubs to adult groups.

Anticipated Future Result: The transition booklet will help adolescents living with HIV improve their confidence and communication skills as they move from adolescent CTC clubs to adult groups.

Anticipated future result don’t necessarily have to be on project, may be about yourself abilities, capacity etc. Remember a result is a change that can be measurable or describable. All the best

Something is expected to happen or be achieved in the future as a result of my abilities, I can work with medical teams, clinics, or hospitals to ensure efficient patient care. I have the ability to take on a role that might be responsible for organizing health camps, awareness programs, and follow-up visits for patients, as well as gathering data and feedback to improve healthcare services my abilities and skills are to increase my effectiveness in facilitating groups, leading discussions, problem-solving, and collaborating with diverse teams. I can also focus on improving my communication, leadership, and organizational skills, as these are essential qualities for success.

An example of a result that I have achieved in my job is making the 3 families I monitored for the past three months to have transparency concerning their HIV status among themselves and the bond between parents and children increased. Parents were able to know the dreams of their children and supported them.

Presently, I am in the position of a field facilitator, entrusted with the implementation of the USAID AFYA YANGU NORTHERN PROJECT, firmly anchored in the principles of the Human-Centered Design approach. This initiative’s primary objectives encompass two distinct accomplishments, indicative of quantifiable and observable transformations anticipated upon project culmination. These achievements collectively mirror the affirmative influence our endeavors are having on the community’s healthcare-seeking behavior and overall quality of life.
To realize these envisioned outcomes, I have achieved intermediary results stemming from a diverse array of activities executed during the project’s implementation phase. Through impactful narratives, we have fostered unity within five families by diminishing certain barriers. Moreover, a growing number of individuals have exhibited readiness to openly discuss their health conditions or share their health statuses with their families, facilitated by the “Njoo Tusemazane” storytelling game.
Furthermore, within the realm of HIV-positive youth, out of the 25 individuals I engaged with, I successfully guided four adolescents in transitioning from youth clubs to adult groups, leveraging the “MASHAURI” transitional booklet. This resource was designed to empower youth by furnishing them with a range of practical insights and skills, fostering self-sufficiency.
Looking ahead, I am planning to amplify my impact through targeted workshops and immersive sessions, aiming to establish collaborative partnerships and effective communication channels with healthcare organizations and community. This collaborative effort seeks to enhance community access to superior healthcare services. As I continue to fulfill my role as a field facilitator, my aspiration is to perpetuate the momentum of success, further cultivating positive outcomes within the community.

The long-term result of the current project I am working on (USAID Afya Yangu Northern Zone) is to help people have an improved ability of individuals to practice positive health-seeking behavior that can be achieved through a Human-Centered design approach. An intermediate result achieved is the development of 5 prototypes that we are expecting to test in the Manyara and Dodoma regions in helping people have knowledge about HIV, prevention from mother-to-child transmission, and Pediatric viral suppression.
